Chesney

Though I am not a Chesney by blood, the family is very near and dear to me.  They have been relatively easy to work on when looking at documents that occur in the United States.  But then the trail goes cold.  Frank Chesney (Czensi) came to the United States in June of 1869.  His wife, Louisa and son Paul arrived a couple months later in August of 1869.  They set up their first residence in Marine City, Michigan.  Within a few years, Frank moved the family to Bay County, Michigan where they were farmers.  Louisa died young in 1881, and Frank married Maria Bruier in 1882.  Frank and Louisa’s son, Joseph Chesney married Elizabeth Uttech in 1903.  (I intend to add more information here with documents, etc.)
