Schulte
Franz Schulte and Elizabeth Förth had at least 9 children, but in 1847 when they immigrated there were only 5 still living. It appears Franz Schulte’s father also immigrated with them, but it is unknown what happened to him. Their son August married Wilhelmina Raass in 1862. August and Mina had 6 sons, though 2 of them died. (I intend to add more information here with documents, etc.)

Curious to know where they immigrated from. Was it Deutmecke/Schoenholthausen/Finnentrop in Land Kreis Olpe in Nord Rhein-Westphalia? If so we’re probably related in some way.
Lisa says:
Hello, Peter! Franz and the kids were all born in Deutmecke and were baptized in the church in Schonholthausen. They immigrated in 1847 from the port of Bremen and came to reside in Detroit, Michigan.
