1895 – Mathias Chesney died 117 years ago in Bay County, Michigan at 2 years old.  His grieving parents are Frank Chesney & Maria Bruier.

1855 – Veronica Degenfelder was born in Germany 157 years ago to Joseph Michael Degenfelder and Josepha Schrein.

1869 -  Paul Chesney was born in Germany 143 years ago to Frank Chesney & Louisa Schroeder.

1893 – Thomas Waid (34) married Louisa Hartmann (19) in Montgomery County, Ohio 119 years ago.

1914 – Joseph Klepaczyk died of nephritis 98 years ago in Detroit, Michigan.  He was 48 years old.

1912 – Anton Kwart died of pneumonia 100 years ago in Detroit, Michigan.  He was 44 years old.  (2nd great-granduncle)

Sister Mary Julia Chesney was born a twin in Bay County, Michigan in 1886 to Frank Chesney & Mary Bruier.  She joined convent before 1910 and worked as a teacher.  She died of diphtheria in her 33rd year and rests in St. Patrick’s Cemetery (Bay County, Michigan) in the Nun’s Circle.

Joseph Chesney (25) & Elizabeth Uttech (21) married on May 12, 1903 in Detroit, Michigan.  They were married by a priest A.V. Mernes, and witnesses were James Mushroom and Clara Blesnack.  (clicking on the photo makes it larger.)

Louise (Schroeder) Chesney died 2 days after Christmas in 1882.  She died at the young age of 44 years leaving behind her 5 children and her husband, Frank Chesney.  She rests in Old St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Bay City, Bay, Michigan.
