Catherine Boire was born in Quebec, Canada and the wife of Toussaint Hebert (Abare). The couple resided in New York, and it appears they had 13 children together until Toussaint died in 1872. Catherine moved to Michigan with her daughter Harriet and her husband, Richard Lapan. She died in the wee hours of February 22, 1914 and rests in St. Anne’s Cemetery in Bay County, Michigan. (4th great-grandmother)

Reuben Booth died in his 76th year on July 4, 1914 in Lambton County, Ontario, Canada. He worked as a farmer his entire life, and died a widow. He was born in Canada in 1839 to Joseph Booth & Maria Torr. (3rd great-granduncle)
Clare Rock was murdered by a gunshot to his head at the young age of 21 years. He was born in Cadillac, Michigan to Ernest Rock & Olive Rumsey. He somehow made his way to Detroit, Michigan where he married young widow, Rose Lapan, oldest daughter of Anthony Lapan & Maria Ross. An autopsy was performed at Receiving Hospital, and he was buried in St. Louis, Michigan. He worked as a truck driver for Detroit Pressed Steel Company. (husband of great aunt)
