Julius Haerens was hit by a car while riding his bike, and he suffered a fractured skull. He was 47 years old. Julius was an Belgian immigrant who appears to live first in Canada and later in Detroit. He leaves behind his wife Marie and his 4 children. He rests in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Detroit, Michigan apart from the rest of the family.
