The Garlick family originated from Glossop, Derbyshire, England.  Joshua came to Illinois first with his brother Robert and Robert’s family.  Joshua’s family joined him 6 years later, and the family resided in Lockport, Illinois.  Eliza Garlick married John B. Sinyard.  (I intend to add more information here with documents, etc.)
