This name is one of those that can be spelled a variety of ways as well. Joseph Lachowski and Elizabeth Kunath immigrated with their family in 1875, settling in Detroit. There are only 4 children that I know of at this time. Their daughter Elizabeth married John Ostrowski in 1885. She died in 1897 giving birth to a stillborn son.
